Conformation classes are run mid-September to mid-June in the London area.
For the experienced breeder/handler this is an opportunity to socialize puppies or work your dogs to keep them
"tuned in" to what is expected of them in the ring. For the new person a chance to learn and meet others already
in the sport. Classes are structured in a friendly, cooperative supportive atmosphere.
Monday evenings holidays
excepted 6:30 - 7:30 at Pets Plus Obedience School, N. Rutledge Rd., Hyde Park
- Cost $9.00 per handler - you can work more than one dog during the class
- Jr. Handlers - FREE as long as accompanied by a parent/friend who is paying to attend class or $5.00
per class if not accompanied by another handler.
For the
beginner I offer a four week course which introduces you to the world of dog shows. It provides insight and an
overview giving you an opportunity to either review or learn about this sport. Week one is strictly a question
and answer session about how shows are run, what to expect and what you should know before venturing into this sport.
The balance of the time is spent working with you and your dog, learning ring procedure including instruction on ring
patterns, tips about showing and conditioning your dog and assisting you to become comfortable and at ease in the ring.
Small classes, arranged around your schedule.
