Dogs are a part of my very being. No matter the breed I find them interesting
and enjoy having them around. Our first family dog was a sable collie, Lassie. What else would a child
in the 50's name a collie! lol After Lassie the next most memorable member of our family was Missy. Missy was
a result of a chance meeting between a sheltie and a male beagle. (a true premier "designer dog" lol)! She
was a delight and lived 14 years as a much loved member of the household.

Ch. Maitland's Gigolo, CD. - aka Elliott Moose was a very
special part of Tapestry. A gentle giant who loved everyone Elliott encouraged me, through necessity, to pursue and obtain
my first obedience title. It took us a while but we got there and the thrill of receiving that third qualifying
score was like winning a BIS! Agility was an area we both enjoyed yet never competed in. He loved the A-frame
and would take every opportunity to climb it! Elliott brought a smile to the face of the elderly he visited as
a St. John's Ambulance Therapy dog and children delighted in his name! (Elliott Moose is a fictitious
cartoon charactor on CBC TV here in Canada) He died far too soon this past summer two weeks after his
7th birthday from cancer and now waits with the other "good dogs" at the Rainbow Bridge.

Joey the cockatiel. Loves to talk and mimic the microwave and dog squeeky toys!
Prada's goal in life is to get him out of that cage and in her stomach.
